This is a series that I started during the lock down of spring 2020. While being inside without studio access I missed sharing my practice with people. Although social media was a great platform for feedback and interaction, I wanted to create something that was more tangible. I made postcard sized art which was sent to people in exchange for a piece of work in return. The swapping aspect emphasised the emotional currency of the artworks and their inherent value aside from money.
Documented below are my half of the exchanges. All are approximately 148 x 210 mm and have been made using a combination of acrylic and coloured pencil on cartridge paper.
